Teens Dream is run primarily by teens, who meet throughout the year to give guidance on Teens Dream activities, judge the video competition, speak publicly to advocate for Teens Dream, attend United Nations meetings on the Sustainable Development Goals, and help design, lead and moderate the annual celebration! This year our Co Creators come from Sidwell Friends School, Fusion, and School without Walls in Washington, DC; Thomas Edison High School in Alexandria; and PG Community College. Our teens at “Walls” are starting a school “Teens Dream Club”! Our student at Sidwell is helping to connect her environmental club to our Smithsonian Eco Teen Network Initiative to build Dream Hubs on the Environment; and our student at PG Community College is our Arts Dream Hub Teen Ambassador organizing a teen arts showcase on gun violence to be filmed at Arlington Independent Media. But most of all, our teen Co Creators are getting ready to welcome our 2017 Teens Dream winners Oct 5-6 from Indonesia, Romania, Spain and across the USA! Support Teens Dream with our fundraiser to fly these winners to Washington and join us! Register here!
